Arm Barrier Systems are one of the most common systems which is used to control vehicle entrances / exits and to arrange safe entrance / exit areas. Arm mounted is placed on the part where the barrier arm will be down. Arm barrier’s body is being placed on a 50x50 cm reinforced concrete to provide longer working period. The system is made operational with the complating the electrical / electronic connections inside the control panel. Arm barriers could be controlled by push button, remote controller, RFID systems, mifare cards and mobile phones.
Working Method of Arm Barriers;
Arm Barriers arm opens with 90° vertically via first command which came from integrated an System (button, remote controller). With second command, arm barrier arm moves down over arm mount and stops parallel to surface.
What are the Types of Arm Barrier?
Arma Kontrol has 7 types of arm barriers which are; ARMA-212 Arm Barrier Systems, ARMA-216 Arm Barrier Systems, Fence Arm Barrier, Broken Arm Barrier, ProFast Arm Barrier, ProBANN Arm Barrier and Manual Arm Barrier.
ARMA 212: It is our standard arm barrier which has 3 to 5 meters of arm length. Opening and closing time is 3,5 seconds. ARMA 216: It has 5 to 6 meters of arm length. Opening and closing time is 5,5 seconds. Fence Arm Barrier: It has 4,5 meters of arm length. Aluminium fences is mounted to barrier arm which is designed like garden fence style to prevent civilian passage under barrier. Broken Arm Barrier: It has 4,5 meters of arm length. It is designed for closed areas such as parking garages. Barrier arm has 2 seperate parts which are connected with aparatus. Profast Arm Barrier: It has maximum 3 meters of arm length which opens and closes in 1.2 seconds. To prevent barrier arm and motor damage which will be caused by vehicle impacts, it has 90 ° intake feature of the barrier engine, ProBaNN Arm Barrier: It has 3 to 6 meters of arm length. Openning and closing times are between 0,7 seconds to 4 seconds. It optionally has 90° intake feature which could be used in places where no personel is assigned such as bridge and highway entrances. The reason why this system is preferred is that the system does not stop after vehicle crashes. Also the damages that are detected or cannot be detected are exempted from the user responsibility. It has 30% more wind resistance than similar barrier systems.
Why Arm Barrier Systems Are Being Preferred?
Arm Barrier Systems are suitable for use in many areas such as municipalities, police-military buildings, offices, plazas, open and closed autoparks, hotels and facilities like this. Prices of arm barriers the most affordable products among the other barrier systems.
What are the Quality Certificates of Arm Barrier?
International certificates of Arm Barrier Systems are as follows;
CE (Compliance with European Quality Standards)
EAC (Compliance with Eurasian Quality Standards)
IP65 (Protection Class Test)
Bollard Systems which becames more common in security solutions are used to control entries and exits of vehicles which don’t restricts bicycles, motorcycles and pedestrian passage.
Excavation is carried out in the construction area first to install bollards. After this preparation, bollard sets will be stationed to the excavated area. After scaling the bollards, strong concrete will be poured to excavated area. After this process, magnetic area for loop dedector will be prepared in two sides of bollard system. The system is made operational by commissioning the electrical / electronic connections in HPU Unit. Bollards could integratedly work with control button, remote control, ANRP, RFID etc. systems.
Bollards working princible is;
With first command from user, bollard rises to provide entrance security by preventing vehicle entry and exit. With second comand, bollard goes down to surface level and allows entry and exit for vehicles.
What are the Types of Bollards?
There are six types of bollards. These types are: Hydraulic Bollards, Built-In Bollards, Pneumatic Bollards, Electromechanic Bollards, Manual and Fixed Bollards. It could be manufactured with LED Light and reflector tape to provide visibility at night.
Hydraulic bollards has strong structure and they are easy to use. These type of bollards works with oil pressure. Built-In bollards also works with oil pressure but main difference of this type of bollard is its control unit which don’t needs a control panel near bollard. Pneumatic Bollards works with air pressure which is provided by a compressor near bollard system. Electromechanic Bollards works with motor reductor system which is connected to gear. Manual Bollard system has 2 different working principle which are mechanical and air pressure. It can be used half mechanical or manually with it’s key. This System is preferred becouse of it’s easy montage and usage posibilities. Fixed Bollards could be installed to ground with flanches or it could be fixed to ground with strong concrete. It is commonly used to secure areas from vehicles entries permanantly.
Bollard Systems could be manufactured with any preferenced color. Also it could be manufactured with AISI 304 & AISI 316 stainless steel which are highly resistant to corrosion.
Why Bollard Systems Are Being Preferred?
Bollard systems are commonly used to secure entries and exits of vehicles for designated perimeters such as military and police facilities, controling enterances of holdings, industrial facilities, oil fields airports and jails. Also it is used to maintain pedestrianisation projects of local goverments and prevent thefts in many areas.
Prices of bollard systems depends on it’s types and purposes of usage. Also bollards are preferred becouse of it’s aesthetic appearance, quality and it’s strong structure.
What are the Quality Certificates of Arm Barrier?
International certificates of Bollard Systems are as follows;
CE (Compliance with European Quality Standards)
LVD (Electrical Safety in Machines)
EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
IP68/IP67 (Protection Class Test)
PAS68 (British Crash Test Standard)
ASTM (USA Crash Test Standard)
IWA 14 (International Crash Test Standard)
Road Blocker Systems are physical security systems, which prevents entries and exits of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians to designated perimetes with it’s resistable strong structures.
Excavation is carried out in the construction area first to install Road Blocker. After this preparation, Road Blocker will be stationed to the excavated area. After scaling the Road Blocker, strong concrete will be poured to excavated area. After this process, magnetic area for loop dedector will be prepared in two sides of bollard system. The system is made operational by commissioning the electrical / electronic connections in HPU Unit. Bollards could integratedly work with control button, remote control, ANRP, RFID, GSM, etc. systems.
Road Blockers working princible is;
With first command from user (via remote controller, button, etc.), road blocker opens to provide entrance security by preventing entry and exit. With second comand, Road Blocker goes down to surface level and allows entries and exits.
What are the Types of Road Blockers?
There are five types of Road Blocker Systems. These are; High Security Road Blocker (PAS68-K12-IWA14-1), Hydraulic Road Blocker, Telescopic Road Blocker, Mini Road Blocker and Mobile Road Blocker.
High Security Road Blocker Systems are researched and developed for places where requires high level of security. This system is preferred on places such as military bases, goverment facilities, airports, jails, embasies etc. Hydraulic Road Blocker Systems are preferred in places where entries and exits should be controlled in places such as oil rafineries, hotels, airports and stadiums. Telescopic Road Blocker Systems usage area is same as Hydraulic Road Blocker System. But if infrastructure don’t allows us to execute deep excavation, we could use Telescopic Road Blocker Systems which needs shallow foundation to built. Mini Road Blocker Systems usage areas are same as Bollard Systems which could be worked simple or multiple equipments. It’s most preferred usage area is pedestrianization projects. Mobile Road Blocker Systems are portable barrier systems which could be used to protect different areas. Mobile Road Blocker Systems don’t needs constructional operations like excavation, concreting, it could be settled to any flat grould.
Bollard Systems could be manufactured with any preferenced color. Also it’s movable parts is manufactured with ST44 high quality stainless steel which are highly resistant to corrosion.
